Prior to my departure for Zambia, Landon had a great idea about how he could serve the kids at the Hope Children's Center in Zambia! He asked his entire 1st grade class at Skyline Elementary to make books for each child...that would be 52 books in all! We gave those books out today and the children were thrilled! They enjoyed the fun stories and especially loved looking at the pictures inside to see who had made their book.

The quote on the back of this last book is great! "This book is very funny. If you read it, you will laugh or maybe throw up!" I can only imagine what's inside!!! :)
Thank you Skyline Elementary first graders (and teachers) for all of the hard work you put in! Your books certainly made these kids laugh and put smiles on all of their sweet little faces! You should be very proud of yourselves for sacrificing your time to make someone else's day special clear on the other side of the world!
